Pakistan Champions withdraw from ‘World Championship of Legends’ Season 3
Pakistan Champions have officially withdrawn from Season 3 of the ‘World Championship of Legends’ (WCL), bringing an end to weeks of uncertainty surrounding their participation in the tournament.
The withdrawal follows the Pakistan Cricket Board’s decision not to issue the required No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for the players. In a statement, Pakistan Champions confirmed they would be unable to compete after the PCB upheld its position despite ongoing discussions over the matter.
WCL organisers separately confirmed that Pakistan Champions would not participate in the ongoing edition due to “unforeseen circumstances”, with the competition continuing as a six-team tournament.
