Overnights: Hum TV thrashes rivals on Sunday

Hum TV reaffirmed its status as the leading Pakistani channel in the UK on Sunday night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
‘Mr Shamim’ at 19:00 was the most watched show across all channels with a record 70,800 viewers – peaking at 75,300 viewers, followed by ‘Kaisay Tum Se Kahoon’ at 20:00 with 47,900 viewers and ‘Joru Ka Ghulam’ at 19:30 with 38,200 viewers. The one-off episode of ‘Intersections’ at 21:00 managed to rake in 29,300 viewers.
On &TV, the big Bollywood blockbuster ‘Happy New Year’ at 11:50 pulled in 27,200 viewers – peaking at 47,700 viewers. It was the most watched movie of the day. ‘India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun’ at 19:00 pulled in 10,100 viewers and ‘Agent Raghav’ at 21:00 with 1,800 viewers. ‘Deal Or No Deal’ could only bring in 1,200 viewers to the channel.
On Star Plus, the most watched show was ‘Dance +’ at 20:00 with 35,600 viewers and ‘Dance + Get Set Go’ at 19:30 pulling in 16,700 viewers. ‘Gulmohar Grand’ at 22:00 delivered 5,200 viewers.
On Colors, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ at 22:30 topped ratings with 20,300 viewers, followed by ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ at 21:00 with 12,200 viewers and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ at 19:00 with 4,100 viewers. ‘The Anupam Kher Show’ with Madhuri Dixit drew in 4,000 viewers at 20:00.
On Rishtey, ‘Daribar Diaries’ at 21:00 pulled in 5,300 viewers, followed by the repeat telecast of ‘Nail Polish’ at 22:00 with 2,900 viewers.
On SAB TV, the repeat telecast of ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ at 13:00 pulled in 11,800 viewers.
