Netflix confirms premiere date for Parineeti Chopra’s ‘Shaque: Trust No One’
Netflix has announced ‘Shaque: Trust No One’, a mystery‑thriller series premiering on 24 September. The title follows a mother’s nine‑year search for her missing child, with the investigation reopening into a world where trust breaks down and every relationship carries a question. Created by Rensil D’Silva and Siddharth P. Malhotra, directed by D’Silva and produced by Alchemy Films, the series marks Parineeti Chopra’s streaming debut in a role built around suspicion, shifting loyalties and a truth that refuses to settle.
Netflix is positioning the series as an emotional crime drama with a thriller spine. Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India, said, “Shaque is a gripping emotional crime drama with elements of a thriller but at its heart, it is a story about a mother’s relentless nine-year search for her child. The story effortlessly moves between the emotional intensity of a mother’s search and the tension of a tightly woven thriller. Siddharth P. Malhotra said the story’s world was compelling from the first narration. “When Rensil narrated the story to me, I was hooked.
