Lyca Radio to launch in Coventry, Derbyshire & Wolverhampton to further enhance Midlands coverage
Lyca Radio is set to broaden its footprint across the Midlands, with broadcasts commencing in Coventry, Derbyshire, Wolverhampton and Shropshire from Tuesday 25th November at 10:00. This expansion builds on the station’s existing services in Birmingham and Leicestershire, significantly extending its audience reach.
Listeners in the newly added areas will be able to tune into the current Midlands feed, with further plans to extend the brand into additional cities in the coming weeks. The Midlands schedule will feature a roster of well-known presenters including Ravi Sharma, Sarita Sabharwal, Bali Brahmbhatt, Kajal, Deep Rajah, Radiowalli and Raj Baddhan.

Lyca Radio teams up with ZEE TV for special Mumbai trip
Lyca Radio first launched in Leicestershire in October 2024, followed by its arrival in Birmingham earlier this year. The Midlands service forms part of the wider Lyca Radio Network, which also includes Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold in Greater London. In 2022, the network acquired Asian Sound Radio, later rebranded as Lyca Radio – Greater Manchester, further consolidating its national presence.
