Khushi Kapoor & Karishma Tanna set to lead Boney Kapoor’s ‘Mom 2’
Khushi Kapoor and Karishma Tanna are set to lead ‘Mom 2’, a contemporary drama inspired by the emotional depth and intensity of the late Sridevi’s 2017 film ‘Mom’. While the title suggests a continuation, the new film is not a direct sequel but rather a thematic successor, exploring similar themes of justice, resilience, and female strength.
A source close to the production told PinkVilla, “Mom 2 is emotionally layered and a modern, dynamic film. Karishma Tanna fits well to enhance the film’s theme. Her intense emotional depth aligns with Khushi Kapoor’s refreshing energy, and that chemistry is what makes them a right pair.”
