Hombale Films to distribute ‘Hanuman Ansh’ outside India
Hombale Films is taking ‘Hanuman Ansh’ overseas, with the devotional drama set for an international release on 11 September 2026. The move follows the film’s strong domestic run, where it has built momentum around the story of Neem Karoli Baba, a spiritual figure whose influence has long extended beyond India.
Written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ centres on Maharaj‑ji, regarded by devotees as an incarnation of Lord Hanuman. His teachings on devotion and service attracted Western seekers in the 1960s and 1970s, with global names including Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg and Julia Roberts publicly acknowledging his impact. Indian celebrities Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have also visited Kainchi Dham, a site closely associated with the saint.
Hombale Films confirmed the overseas rollout through its social platforms, stating that the film’s spiritual narrative would now “reach the world” via its Hombale Overseas division.
The film has already delivered an unusual box‑office trajectory in India. Opening at around Rs. 10 lakh, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ climbed steadily to Rs. 63.82 crore by Day 26, driven by sustained word‑of‑mouth and a long theatrical tail. The domestic performance has amplified interest in the film’s international potential, particularly among audiences familiar with Maharaj‑ji’s global footprint.

The studio has built a reputation for large‑scale pan‑India releases, including the KGF franchise, Kantara, Salaar and Mahavatar Narsimha.
