Hombale Films enters overseas distribution with Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’
Hombale Films has announced its entry into the international distribution market, confirming that its first overseas acquisition will be the Ram Charan‑starrer ‘Peddi’.
The move marks a major strategic expansion for the production house, which has become one of India’s most influential film studios in recent years.
The announcement was made through the company’s official channels, where Hombale Films described the partnership as a significant step in strengthening its global footprint. The banner, known for large‑scale blockbusters such as ‘KGF’, ‘Kantara’ and ‘Salaar’, will now handle international distribution for one of 2026’s most anticipated pan‑Indian releases.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ has already generated substantial buzz for its rugged action setting, striking visuals and Ram Charan’s dramatic physical transformation. The film also features music by Oscar‑winning composer A. R. Rahman, adding further weight to its global appeal.

Trade analysts suggest that Hombale Films’ involvement could significantly enhance the film’s international reach, given the studio’s track record of mounting large‑scale productions with strong overseas traction.
The company also has an ambitious slate ahead, including ‘Salaar 2’, a project with Hrithik Roshan, and the much‑anticipated ‘KGF 3’.
