English channel, ZEE World launches on Freeview Play in UK
ZEE World
English entertainment channel, ZEE World has launched on Freeview Play TVs and boxes in the UK.
The service, which comes from ZEE Network UK, up until now, has focussed primarily on its Hindi entertainment offerings. It also broadcasts World Is One News (WION) – the global English news channel on the Sky platform.
This is the first time that ZEE Network UK will be tapping into English audiences with entertainment content. The channel is available on EPG 278, available on connected Freeview Play TVs and boxes.

ZEE World has been on-air since 2015. It broadcasts predominantly in countries like Africa, with ZEE TV’s Hindi content dubbed in English.
