Ekta Kapoor denies rumours of Sara Arjun in her next ‘Heer Raanjha’
Producer Ekta Kapoor has dismissed rumours surrounding the casting of her upcoming film ‘Heer Ranjha’, confirming that actress Sara Arjun is not part of the project.
Recent speculation on social media had suggested that Sara Arjun had been cast in the film. However, Kapoor was quick to clarify that the reports are inaccurate.
In an official statement, Balaji Telefilms said it “unequivocally disassociates” itself from individuals or entities spreading misinformation. The company also stressed that it never requests registration fees, audition charges, or any form of monetary deposit for casting opportunities.

‘Heer Ranjha’ is being developed as a contemporary retelling of the classic tragic romance. The film will be directed by Sajid Ali, reuniting the creative ecosystem behind ‘Laila Majnu’, which was presented by Imtiaz Ali. Further casting announcements are expected in due course.
