Channel 4 confirms Bollywood film season


Channel 4 has exclusively confirmed its annual Bollywood film season, which kicks off in early-September. can reveal the titles that will premiere on terrestrial television. They include ‘Aligarh’, ‘The Threshold’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Finding Fanny’, ‘Jugni’, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Pyaasa’ (1957), ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Piku’, ‘Lady Of The Lake’ and ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. The movies are expected to be aired in this particular order.

As previous years, Channel 4 will air the movies post-midnight (times will be announced near to broadcast), on Sunday nights / Monday mornings from 11th September. All movies will also be aired in HD for viewers who have access to Channel 4 HD.

  1. Looks good, but shame there’s no official page on C4’s site, like there usually is! It was by complete chance that I was able to view the first film as I didn’t see anything about it on their website.
