UK TV Ratings: Modest ‘Bigg Boss 20’ opening lifts Colors Sunday slot

The launch of ‘Bigg Boss 20′ boosted Colors on Sunday, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.
While the launch numbers were lower than expected, the show had been widely publicised on the newly launched JioHotstar UK. It maybe too early to speculate but viewers this year will be split between Colors’ linear service and JioHotstar UK.
Colors registered a share of 0.04% with an opening of 9,000 viewers. Earlier in the evening, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ was watched by 5,000 viewers.
Star Plus was the top Hindi channel with a share of 0.11%. Its top show was ‘Oh Humnava Tum Dena Saath Mera’ with 21,000 viewers.
