ARY Digital has announced a new contemporary sports‑drama centred on women’s football, ‘Maidaan’.
Premiering on Saturday 18th July at 21:00, the telefilm focusses on the emotional challenges faced by athletes fighting for recognition. It follows a group of young women determined to carve out space in a sport that has historically sidelined them, blending personal struggle, ambition and team spirit into a single narrative.
‘Maidaan’ stars Faysal Quraishi as the coach. He leads a cast of four young women who play the football players: Dananeer Mobeen, Romaisa Khan, Vardah Aziz, and Mehar Bano.
