Colors announces new weekend show in limited series ‘108 Base Hospital Uri’

Colors TV has confirmed that ‘108 Base Hospital – Uri’ will launch on Saturday 15 August, timed to coincide with India’s Independence Day, positioning the military‑medical drama as a patriotic centrepiece of the channel’s August line‑up.

Set near the Line of Control, ‘108 Base Hospital – Uri’ follows the high‑pressure world of Army surgeons and officers working inside a frontline trauma unit. The drama blends battlefield emergencies with personal conflict, focusing on the emotional and physical demands placed on medical teams who treat wounded soldiers under constant threat. Themes of duty, sacrifice and resilience anchor the narrative as the characters navigate life‑or‑death situations and the realities of serving in a conflict zone.

The cast is led by Erica Fernandes as Major Naina Sanyal, a disciplined trauma surgeon whose commitment to her unit drives much of the story. Gashmeer Mahajani stars as Major Anirudh Jaiswal, a seasoned Army doctor balancing leadership with personal strain. Nikhil Khurana appears as Major Sameer Dixit, while Hiten Tejwani features in a key supporting role within the military hierarchy.

The series will air weekends at 20:00, with episodes also available on JioHotstar for streaming audiences.
