Tabu-Manoj Bajpayee come together after 14 years

Tabu

The last time they shared the screen together was in 2000 in ‘Ghaath’ and ‘Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar’, and now news has it that Tabu and Manoj Bajpayee are to come together again in a Neeraj Pandey production.

The film is to be jointly produced by Vikram Malhotra and directed my debutant Manoj Abhyankar.Times of Indiareported Bajpayee talking to the media explaining, “It’s a psychological thriller. It is a story of relationships revolving around Annu Kapoor, Tabu and me.”

The film is still in it’s very early stages, however Bajpayee seems to be very excited about the project. Talking about working with a first time director, he goes onto say, “Although the director is new, the script is fabulous.”

Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy working on ‘Saat Uchakkey’ also produced by Pandey. Talking about this film, Bajpayee goes onto say, “I play this good-for-nothing bloke in Chandni Chowk who is desperate for money and to get married. It’s directed by another debutant, Sanjeev Sharma.”

Bajpayee has hardly been cast as the typical hero throughout much of his career, which without a doubt has worked in his favour. Delivering some outstanding performances, it sure seems that his forthcoming projects will be no different.
