Sony TV UK announces major weekday line‑up overhaul amid ratings push
Sony TV UK has confirmed a full restructuring of its weekday schedule in an effort to revive ratings, which have declined notably in recent months.
The revised line‑up will take effect from Monday 29 June, introducing a nightly film for the first time as part of the channel’s primetime strategy. The long‑running comedy ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ will make its debut on Sony TV UK, airing each evening at 19:00. It will continue on Sony SAB.
The former series ‘The Drama Company’ will return to the schedule at 17:30 on weeknights. Two SonyLIV titles will also join the line‑up, with ‘Pushpa Impossible’ scheduled for 19:30 and ‘Maharani’ at 21:00. Meanwhile, ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’ will move to a new slot at 20:00.
