JioHotstar announces ‘Student of the Year: After Dark’, sets November premiere
JioHotstar has announced ‘Student of the Year: After Dark’, a new series starring Shanaya Kapoor, which is scheduled to premiere on 13th November 2026.
Directed by Reema Maya, the series marks Kapoor’s OTT debut and offers a darker take on the ‘Student of the Year’ franchise. It is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.
The project moves away from the original film’s focus on college romance and rivalry, introducing a thriller-led narrative centred on mystery, danger and competition.
Kapoor is reportedly playing a double role in the series, although further details about the characters and supporting cast are awaited.
