Shweta Singh Kirti claims Sushant Singh Rajput’s leg was broken and his eyes were hurt during post-mortem

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, has made fresh claims regarding his post-mortem examination, alleging that she recently received information from the individual who conducted the procedure.

In a video shared on social media, Shweta Singh Kirti stated that she had been informed that significant force had allegedly been used on the actor, claiming that his leg was broken, his eyes were injured and that there had been “gun use” or “stun gun use”.

“We got to know recently that the post-mortem person who did post-mortem on Bhai told that there was gun use and his leg was broken and a lot of force was used on him. His eyes were hurt,” she said in the video.

The remarks have once again brought public attention to the circumstances surrounding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead at his Mumbai residence on 14 June 2020.

However, the allegations remain unverified. Reports indicate that Shweta Singh Kirti did not provide documentary evidence to substantiate the claims contained in her statement.

The latest assertions also stand in contrast to the official post-mortem findings reported in 2020, which concluded that the cause of death was hanging and did not record the injuries now being alleged.

In the same message, Shweta Singh Kirti urged supporters not to allow grief to turn into hatred or resentment, emphasising that she wished to remain guided by faith, love and compassion despite the pain associated with the loss of her brother.

While the comments are likely to reignite debate surrounding one of the Hindi film industry’s most closely followed cases, no new official investigative findings have been announced in connection with the claims.
