Shilpa Shetty to front ZEE5’s new cooking reality show ‘Maa Hai Na’
Shilpa Shetty has been officially announced as the host of ZEE5’s forthcoming cooking‑based reality show ‘Maa Hai Na’. The series, expected to begin streaming in June, will feature celebrity mothers appearing alongside their children. Among the first guests will be Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, and their daughter, Tina Ahuja.
Speaking to Mid‑Day about taking part in the programme, Sunita said, “My honourable husband Govinda told me, ‘Go ahead and work. But don’t use my name to get ahead in life.’ I want to stand on my own feet without anyone’s support.”

Despite sharing screen space with several well‑known personalities, Ahuja insists she feels no pressure. “I don’t find anything challenging in life. Whatever I do I make sure it’s top notch,” she said. When asked whether she would consider more reality shows, she replied in her characteristically forthright manner, “I have understood in the last two years that money is important, not love. Pyaar karke dekhliya 40 saal. Now, whatever work I will do, I will do it for money. So, I am open to doing any kind of show.”
