Salman Khan completes Ladakh shooting for ‘Battle of Galwan’

Salman Khan has officially completed the Ladakh shooting schedule for his upcoming war drama ‘Battle of Galwan’, a film inspired by the real-life clashes between Indian and Chinese forces in 2020. The actor was spotted leaving the region after an intense two-week shoot that included high-altitude action sequences and emotionally charged scenes.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film marks the duo’s reunion after hits like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Salman plays a commanding officer leading a battalion through one of the most challenging terrains in modern warfare, with the Ladakh backdrop adding authenticity and scale to the production.

The crew reportedly faced extreme weather conditions and logistical hurdles during the shoot, but sources close to the team say Salman remained committed and energetic throughout. The next phase of filming is expected to continue in Mumbai and Delhi, with a release slated for Independence Day 2026.
