Ranveer Singh to join Maddock Films’ horror-comedy franchise?
Ranveer Singh is reportedly set to join Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films horror-comedy franchise, adding star power to a universe that already includes Rajkummar Rao, Varun Dhawan, and Ayushmann Khurrana, all of whom have previously collaborated with the studio in the genre.
According to a source cited by Mid-Day, discussions between Singh and Vijan have been ongoing.
Ranveer has been in conversations with Dinesh for a while. He was at the Maddock office last week. The makers were looking to inject fresh energy into the next chapter, and Ranveer is eager to explore this genre. The formalities are expected to be wrapped up soon, the source revealed.
The upcoming project is said to be a crossover that brings together storylines and characters from Stree, Bhediya, and Thama — a move reportedly designed to culminate in an Avengers-style cinematic event.
