RADIO: Nikki Bedi becomes BBC Asian Network’s new


Nikki Bedi, the vibrant stage and television star, who is best known for her chat shows ‘Bombay Chat’ and ‘Nikki Tonight’, and her popular BBC Asian Network show Hot Breakfast will present the Drive show on the BBC Asian Network from January 10th 2005.

She will be on air Monday – Friday 4.00pm – 7.30pm (GMT), her show will feature the very latest news, entertainment, the newest music, and listeners can call in with their views on the big events of the day. Nikki’s career started at the age of 5 and has grown ever since, born to an Indian father and English mother her acting career stated in Mumbai and has taken her all around the world.

Talking about her new challenge she said ” I have presented a number of show’s for the Asian Network from Breakfast to the Sonia Deol’s morning phone in, presenting Hot Breakfast on weekends gave me the opportunity to work on a show I loved, I’m now planning to take the fun and excitement to Drive and hope to give the listeners a fun filled three and half hours every weekday.”
