NDTV Imagine axes ‘Dehleez’ for ‘Seeta Geeta’

NDTV Imagine is pulling out all the stops to ramp up viewing figures. Since unleashing its new programme line-up earlier this year, the growth of new viewers sampling the channel has been somewhat lacklustre.

When the new shows were announced, ‘Dehleez’ was launched with much fanfare, however, reports have indicated that the drama will be axed due to poor TRPs to make way for a new show.

‘Dehleez’s’ final episode will be aired in India on Friday 22nd May. The following Monday (25th May) will see the debut of ‘Seeta Geeta’ based on the superhit Bollywood movie ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’.

In the UK, ‘Seeta Geeta’ will make its entry in early-June.
