Kishore Kumar biopic to move to next year

Having announced that he will be doing a film based on the great late singer-actor��Kishore Kumar, Anurag Basu has found that the project is taking much longer than expected, and has delayed the film to start next year.

Also working on other projects which will be due to start this year, Times of India��report Basu stating, “I am writing three films right now and will select one of them and then make it. This is because the biopic of Kishore Kumar��will take a lot of time and now it might start next year.” ��Talking about his other projects, Basu confirms, “But before that, I have to make another film. It will start soon by April or May. So the preparations for that are going on.”

The biopic will include Kumar’s relationship with the legendary late actress Madhubala. Though Ranbir Kapoor has been signed on to play Kumar,��Basu is till in search for a lead to play Madhubala’s character. Basu seems to be thinking very careful about this project, and who can blame him. Producing such a project, Basu has to make sure he get’s every aspect spot on. Well, as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait.
