Kangana Ranaut to start work on Vikas Bahl’s ‘Queen 2’ this month
Kangana Ranaut is expected to begin filming ‘Queen 2’ towards the end of April, marking the start of a new chapter for the much‑discussed sequel. The film will once again be directed by Vikas Bahl, who returns to the franchise more than a decade after the release of the original.
Unlike the first film, which followed the protagonist’s journey abroad, the sequel will centre on a city‑based version of Rani, exploring a new phase of her life and personal growth. The story is set to follow her travels across India, with the narrative focusing on themes of independence and self‑realisation.
Filming will commence in Mumbai, where sets have been prepared to depict key locations central to the story. The production is expected to move to several metropolitan cities as part of a planned three‑month schedule.
