Disney “in talks” with Reliance over future of its India business
Disney is said to be in talks with Reliance Industries (RIL) over the future of its India business, which includes Disney Star.
Reliance owns the majority stake in Viacom18, the owner of Colors. Meanwhile, Disney revealed recently that it was looking at various strategic options for its India business.
Bloomberg reports that Disney held “preliminary talks” with potential buyers for its India business recently.
