‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ makes history with Rs. 130 crore worldwide on first day
Aditya Dhar’s much‑anticipated release ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has delivered a remarkable opening, collecting an impressive Rs. 130 crore worldwide on its first day. The figure surpasses the opening‑day earnings of major blockbusters, including ‘Jawan’ (Rs. 112 crore) and ‘Pathaan’ (Rs. 103 crore).
In overseas markets, the film registered collections of $4.25 million. Although this is lower than the numbers posted by the Shah Rukh Khan‑led releases, the difference is largely attributed to the film not opening in the Gulf region due to its content restrictions. In the UK, the film earned £400 on its opening day, outperforming ‘Pathaan’ in the territory.

The overall tally is expected to rise further once revenue from the extensive preview screenings held the night before the official release is fully accounted for.
