Box Office: ‘Dhamaal 4’ postponed to avoid clash with ‘Dhurandhar 2’ & ‘Toxic’
Ajay Devgn has reportedly postponed ‘Dhamaal 4’ from its Eid 2026 release, to avert the clash with the major films ‘Dhurandhar 2’ and ‘Toxic’. ‘Dhamaal 4’ is now expected to release in May 2026.
A source close to the production explained, “After extensive discussions, and in light of the phenomenal success of ‘Dhurandhar’, Ajay Devgn is not prepared to risk a direct clash with its sequel. The team has therefore decided to position ‘Dhamaal 4’ later in the year.”

The source added, “Ajay has always been mindful of the wider industry. He recognises that ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has the potential to reshape the business landscape for Hindi cinema. He does not wish to pit a light‑hearted comedy against a film that tackles weightier themes and resonates strongly with audiences. He believes the franchise deserves an uninterrupted run.”
