‘Crew’ sequel on the cards with Kareena Kapoor Khan?
Producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor are set to reunite for a sequel to their 2024 hit ‘Crew’, which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. The follow-up, currently in development, aims to build on the success of the original and establish Crew as a full-fledged franchise.
A source close to the project told PinkVilla, “Crew has shown strong potential to evolve into a franchise. The team has explored several ideas and has now settled on one that naturally lends itself to a sequel.”

While the original trio captured audiences with their chemistry, only Kareena Kapoor Khan is confirmed to return for ‘Crew 2’. The casting of the remaining leads remains under wraps, adding an element of intrigue to the project. “Kareena has expressed keen interest in returning and is awaiting the full screenplay before making it official. The project is still in its early stages, but the entire team is enthusiastic about taking Crew forward as a franchise,” the source added.
