Kareena Kapoor Khan draws large crowds at Birmingham jewellery store launch
Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, 44, attracted thousands of visitors to Birmingham on Saturday as she attended the opening of Malabar Gold and Diamonds’ new showroom on Soho Road.
The store, described by the brand as Europe’s largest 22-carat gold outlet, hosted a public event between 1pm and 4pm.
Kapoor Khan, who is a brand ambassador for Malabar Gold and Diamonds, appeared on stage outside the showroom, where cultural performances were also organised as part of the celebrations. A ribbon-cutting ceremony formally marked the launch.

In addition to the Birmingham appearance, Kapoor Khan also inaugurated the brand’s new store in Southall and attended a private luncheon in London with invited guests.
In a statement ahead of the opening, Malabar Gold and Diamonds said the showroom was designed as “a space where heritage and luxury come together.”
