BritAsia TV has launched its first regular podcast called ‘BritAsia Podcast – Keep It Sound!’.

Having been on air for 12 years on both Sky and Freeview, the channel has become a household name for the South Asian community. The launch of BritAsia Podcast brings another element of entertainment on this highly renowned platform.

BritAsia Podcast will include many features including Interviews with music artists and influential individuals within the South Asian entertainment industry, controversial topics in the South Asian community, and the latest news.

Tony Shergill, CEO of BritAsia TV, said, “With podcasts being an extremely popular platform, we felt that there was a need for us to create BritAsia Podcast, in order to provide a new level of entertainment for our viewers. With a large proportion of the public in quarantine during this Covid – 19 pandemic, BritAsia Podcast aims to keep listeners informed, as well as provide entertainment through interviews and discussions of interesting topics that affect the South Asian Community. Keep It Sound!”

Raj Shoker, BritAsia Podcast Host, added, “Alongside being the Official Punjabi Music Chart Show presenter for BritAsia TV, I am excited to be welcoming guests onto BritAsia Podcast to discuss a variety of conversation topics for our viewers. During this Covid – 19 pandemic, we have been focusing on guest speakers who can inform our viewers and provide up to date advice. I have recently had Employment Solicitor, Deborah Scales, on the show, to discuss how Covid – 19 has impacted businesses and employment, answering the public’s questions on furlough leave. This platform will be a great way to provide a new level of entertainment for our followers as we will have a range of celebrity guest speakers on the show, with opportunity for fans to call in. I would like to thank BritAsia TV for their continuous support in providing me with this platform to engage with viewers.”
