Majid Majidi’s much talked about next ‘Beyond The Clouds’ has been postponed from its March release to April.

The film, which marks the debut of Ishaan Khatter, along with Malavika Mohanan, was initially due to release on 23rd March but will now hit cinemas a month later on 20th April 2018. The film has a backdrop of Mumbai slums, it narrates a heart-warming tale of a brother and sister and how they eventually find happiness amidst difficult times.

Business Head of ZEE Studios, Sujay Kutty, said, “The demand internationally like in India has grown manifold. To ensure that we create a single release window across the globe for a movie of this stature from such a renowned and respected filmmaker like Majid Majidi, it was but natural to have a date, which works across the globe.” He further added, “The film has many firsts for us to be proud of – an all India team under Majidi’s leadership, a platform for two brilliant debutants and an India story showcased by such a legendary artiste. We decided to make this change in the release date as not every day you get such an opportunity with such promise and such brilliant talent.”
