On the film front, Best Male and Best Female awards were taken up by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone for their film ‘Padmaavat’. Singh also won the title for his exceptional performance in ‘Simmba’. The Best Film gong was handed to the thriller ‘Raazi’.

Popular Leicester based radio station, Sabras Radio won the Best Radio Station, while Eastern Eye clinched the Best Publication award and Netflix took the ultimate prize home for Best OTT Platform, despite serious opposition from an influx of India digital platforms.
