BCCI confirms IPL 2025 to resume this month
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume on Saturday 17th May and conclude with the final on 3rd June.
In a formal statement, the BCCI said, “BCCI is pleased to announce the resumption of the TATA IPL 2025. After extensive consultations with government and security agencies, and with all the key stakeholders, the Board has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season.”
The revised schedule follows a week-long suspension of the tournament, which was halted on 9th May due to escalating cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.
