BBC News & BBC World News to launch temporary shared schedule
Ahead of the merger between BBC News and BBC World News, it has been confirmed that a new combined temporary schedule will be rolled out in April before full changes come into effect in spring.
The temporary schedule launches on Monday 6th March with a number of UK centric shows being replaced with international shows simulcast on both channels. Separate programmes will be phased out, with single shared shows starting from Monday.
As a part of the raft of changes, BBC Sport will continue to produce a range of sport bulletins for UK and international audiences. Furthermore, UK viewers will see the return of Business bulletins, which will include daily business updates.
