BBC Asian Network’s comedy night ‘One More Laugh’ returns to London

BBC Asian Network’s ‘One More Laugh’ returns to London in January 2026 with a line-up of emerging comedians. The live event will take place at the BBC Radio Theatre on Friday 30th January 2026.

Hosted by comedian and content creator Dinesh Nathan, who previously appeared at the 2025 edition, the show promises an evening of comedy featuring some of the UK’s rising talents. Performers include Ajay Rose, a BBC New Comedy Award finalist and regular on the London circuit; Dane Buckley, an award-winning comedian and writer known for the podcast Welcome to Hell and a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024; NJ Patel, runner-up in The Stand-Up Club’s New Comedian Competition 2024; and Samira Banks, winner of So You Think You’re Funny? 2023 and a Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year finalist.

The event will also feature a live DJ set from BBC Asian Network’s DJ Kizzi, adding music to the night of entertainment.

Dinesh Nathan says: “I’m buzzing to host ‘One More Laugh’. I did the show before and it was a lot of fun, so I’m delighted they’ve trusted me to come back and will try not to ruin it.”

Ahmed Hussain, Head of Asian Network, says: “I’m really looking forward to our ‘One More Laugh’ show in London in January. We want to continue to welcome all audiences whilst still celebrating and reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of British Asian humour and comedy so rebranding our already popular Asian Network Comedy offers a great opportunity to do this.”

“I’m looking forward to a night of non-stop laughter from some fantastic up-and-coming comedians who I am certain will provide some fresh, funny and relatable content that reflects the lives and experiences of our audience and beyond.”
