Anees Bazmee’s next with Akshay Kumar & Vidya Balan titled ‘Ram Aur Shyam’
Anees Bazmee’s forthcoming feature, starring Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan, has officially been titled ‘Ram Aur Shyam’. The production commenced in Mumbai on 20th January and is now preparing for its second schedule, which is expected to begin in Karjat later this month.
Reflecting on his reunion with Kumar after several years, Bazmee said, “We have a lot of love for each other. We didn’t work for so many years. However, we continued bumping into each other and our bond remained intact. When I got the story of this film and realised it would be apt for Akshay ji, I approached him. He loved the story. He’s very excited about it.”
The filmmaker also confirmed the principal cast, noting, “The film stars Akshay ji, Vidya ji, Raashii Khanna, Vijay Raaz, Zakir Hussain, Sayaji Shinde and others. Expect a lot of comedy, romance, action, songs, etc.”
