‘Kesari – Chapter 2’ set for premiere on JioHotstar
Akshay Kumar’s recently released hit film ‘Kesari – Chapter 2′ is set to premiere on JioHotstar.
From Friday, 13th June, the Dharma Productions film will be available on the OTT platform. The film depicts events following the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, though it takes certain creative liberties in its storytelling.
Expressing his excitement for the OTT release, Akshay Kumar shared in a press statement: “’Kesari – Chapter 2’ tells the story of an extraordinary man who stood against an empire, risking everything to seek justice for the victims of one of history’s darkest moments. Portraying C. Sankaran Nair has been a deeply humbling experience—one that highlights how courage and conviction can challenge even the mightiest of powers. This film is not just a courtroom drama; it is a tribute to truth, resistance, and the spirit of India. After its successful theatrical run, I am proud that this powerful story will now reach even more viewers as it streams on JioHotstar from 13th June.”
