Akshay Kumar does not do extensive research for roles

Akshay Kumar is known for doing multiple films a year, belonging to various genres. Unlike actors who believe a role requires a lot of preparation, Kumar’s belief is that acting is the art of being able to switch into different characters quickly.

ANI quote Kumar as saying, “When you see interviews of different actors who say, ‘the role was very difficult. I shut myself for two days and rehearsed for the role.’ I will tell you, all are lying. Don’t trust anyone. I am telling you, there’s nothing as such. It’s just acting. How difficult can it get? It just takes about 10 to 15 minutes and you are back in some other role. That is what acting is all about.”

The actor’s upcoming films include ‘Rustom’, ‘Jolly LLB’ and ‘Robot 2’.
