‘Abir Gulaal’ renamed ‘Aabeer Gulaal’; to release August-end globally

Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s long-awaited romantic drama ‘Aabeer Gulaal’, previously titled ‘Abir Gulaal’, is now slated for a cinematic release at the end of August.
The film’s release was initially postponed in May following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack. In the wake of the incident, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), a prominent body representing film industry professionals, called for a boycott of ‘Abir Gulaal’, leading to its delay.
BizAsiaLive.com has learnt that ‘Aabeer Gulaal’ will now release globally on 29 August, where it will face direct competition from ‘Param Sundari’, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Vaani Kapoor.
