ZEE TV pulls out all the stops to promote HD variant launch in UK
ZEE Network UK has pulled out all the stops to promote the HD variant of its flagship channel, ZEE TV in the UK.
ZEE TV HD, which launches on Sky and Virgin Media on Thursday 13th January 2022, has been backed with a huge marketing campaign on television, radio and on-ground.
On the television front, an on-screen countdown bug is running across ZEE TV and ZEE Cinema, while on radio, Lyca Radio and Lyca Gold have been running regular announcements ahead of the launch. Similarly, online, BizAsiaLive.com has been running a campaign for the exciting channel launch.
On the local front, ZEE TV’s UK marketing team has travelled up and down the country to film special vox-pop type segments with members of the general public. The broadcaster has also recorded promos with local artists. ZEE TV UK’s Twitter and Instagram are currently carrying a number of promos to further hype the channel launch.
An industry analyst observed, “This is certainly a first for a UK Asian TV broadcaster to create such a buzz ahead of the launch of a HD service. Brand ZEE has once again proven its commitment and loyalty to its audience and clients. Despite the market challenges during the pandemic, ZEE continues to surprise with quality wholesome family entertainment. ZEE TV HD will be available on Sky and Virgin Media from Thursday 13th January 2022.
