ZEE TV axes ‘Jagriti’; show finale to air in January
ZEE TV’s drama ‘Jagriti’ is set to go off air in January after delivering consistently underwhelming ratings since its launch. Despite its socially driven premise and a capable cast, the show struggled to gain traction in a competitive primetime landscape, prompting the channel to bring it to an early close.
As part of a broader schedule reshuffle, ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’ will move into ‘Jagriti’’s vacated slot, ensuring continuity for viewers already following the series. Meanwhile, ZEE TV’s upcoming family drama ‘Lakshmi Niwas’ will take over the slot currently occupied by ‘Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile’, marking a fresh start for the channel’s fiction line‑up in the new year.
