Yash’s ‘Toxic’ postponed to June 2026 amid Middle East tensions

The release of ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’, starring Yash, has been postponed amid the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Originally scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 19th March, the film had been poised for a high-profile box office clash with ‘Dhurandhar 2’. However, the makers have now confirmed that ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ will instead be released on 4th June.

The decision was taken by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, following consultation with Phars Films, one of the film’s principal distribution partners. Escalating tensions in the Middle East have reportedly disrupted cinema operations across the Gulf region, a significant market for the film’s planned multi-language global rollout.

Industry observers note that the Gulf territories remain commercially vital for large-scale Indian releases, particularly those mounted as pan-Indian or international ventures. With uncertainty affecting theatrical operations in parts of the region, the postponement is understood to be a strategic move to safeguard box office prospects.

Meanwhile, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is expected to proceed with its previously announced 19th March release date.
