World’s highest paid actors include Amitabh, Salman & Akshay

Forbes have produced a list of the world�۪s highest paid actors and it will be no surprise that Bollywood actors are also featured on it. In the top 10, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar have bagged slots.

The list compiled outlines 34 global actors in total and aside from the top 10, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor�۪s names are also included. This is the first time Forbes have looked at actors outside the US to make the list. Bachchan and Salman have tied at 7th place.

Forbes have also explained that a big chunk of the income of actors earn comes from the rights that are sold to TV and satellite channels and not just from the film�۪s business itself when it�۪s released, ���Like their US counterparts, they also supplement movie pay with product endorsements. Though these tend to be less lucrative than American stars’ seven figure deal, Bollywood’s best tend to rep over 10 different products, some more glamorous than others�۝.
