Vishal Dadlani not returning to ‘Indian Idol 12’?

Vishal Dadlani has opened up about his vacant seat on ‘Indian Idol 12’.

The musician, who was a part of the original judging line-up, along with Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Kakkar, has been off our screens due to the lockdown. Meanwhile, the shoot of the show was impacted due to government restrictions.

Asked when he plans to return to ‘Indian Idol 12’, Dadlani told TOI, “Not till the quasi lockdown is done with.”

Host of the show, Aditya Narayan revealed, “Vishal shifted to Lonavala last year and he has shifted with his parents. He didn’t want to drive all the way from Lonavala to Daman and come back to potentially infect his parents as he is being extra careful because of his parents. I completely support that. If you have doubt then you should go with your instincts especially during these times.”

The ‘Indian Idol 12’ team is now awaiting the clearance from the Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Narayan said, “We are now waiting for what Uddhav Thackerayji has to say about opening up the city. But I would say it is better to be in Mumbai as Covid is a very slimy character it is one of those villains who looks like a sidekick but turns out to be a megalomaniac and evil character. Imagine recommendations of wearing a mask at home.”
