Tata Group expected to acquire Disney’s stake in Tata Play?
Tata Group is reportedly planning to acquire Disney’s stake in Tata Play Ltd, giving it full control of the digital platform.
Reports say that the two companies are at preliminary talks about the acquisition. Earlier, there were rumours that Disney may sell its 30% share in Tata Play to Reliance Industries.
This week, it emerged that Reliance was to buy the 13% owned by Paramount Global in Viacom18 Media for Rs 4,286 crore.
