Supreme Court to hear IDBI Trusteeship plea against ZEE-Sony merger
The Supreme Court will hear a plea filed by IDBI Trusteeship Services over the looming ZEE-Sony merger.
The hearing is expected to take place after four weeks, according to Exchange4Media. IDBI had moved NCLAT earlier this month. It has challenged the NCLT approving the merger.
IDBI has claimed that Subhash Chandra had failed to comply with obligations agreed back in 2019. ZEEL has opposed the claims admitting IDBI is not a creditor of ZEE and has no right to object to the merger.
