Star Plus to air Indian version of ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Star Plus has acquired the format rights of popular international series ‘Lip Sync Battle’.

The show, which was aired on Channel 5 in the UK recently, will now be adapted for Indian audiences. Bombay Times reports that the show will feature Maniesh Paul and Malaika Arora, plus Farah Ali Khan and Ali Asgar, who have been roped in as the show runners.

‘Lip Sync Battle’ is a show based on celebrities competing with each other by lip syncing popular songs.
