Sony Pictures Networks India cuts 100 jobs as a part of cost-cutting reorganisation
Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has undergone a significant organisational restructuring, with around 100 employees affected across multiple divisions. The job cuts, executed last week, span several departments within the network, though SonyLIV, SPNI’s digital platform, remains unaffected. The impacted individuals are expected to exit this month.
While earlier projections suggested that as many as 150 employees might be impacted, insiders now believe the final number may be lower than initially anticipated. The reduction is estimated to represent roughly 10% of SPNI’s total workforce, which stands at approximately 1,200 employees.
