Sony goes on the road with Boogie Woogie UK

Leicester Belgrave Mela is proud to announce that the most dance-tastic event of the year is back, as the search begins again for the UK?s best Bollywood dancer!

After its huge success last year, Boogie Woogie 2005 (modelled after the world famous Sony Entertainment Television Asia prime-time television show ?Boogie Woogie?) is scouring the country to find budding Bollywood dancers who think they?ve got what it takes to dance like Aishwariya Rai and shake it like Sharukh Khan!

A series of auditions are planned to take place across the country as the suspense builds towards the UK and International finals. Last year the International Final took place at the glamorous Sheraton Skyline hotel in London and this year?s show is set to take place in New York or India (TBC). The show saw Boogie Winners from Kenya, India, South Africa and USA competing head to head to be crowned Boogie Woogie Champion. As the shows popularity continues to increase across the globe, this year?s competition, which will be televised worldwide, also includes entries from Dubai, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Contestants and audiences also had the chance to be entertained and meet music producer DJ Juggy D, RnB sensation Veronica and music producer Bally Sagoo. Presenters of the original Boogie Woogie India, Ravi and Navid, were flown half way round the world to host the show.

Audition dates:

Birmingham ? Sunday 18th September 2005
Manchester ? Saturday 24th September 2005
Leicester – Sunday 7th October 2005
London ? Sunday 23rd October 2005
