Shraddha Kapoor: “Waited for this time all my life”

Shraddha Kapoor is just six years old in B-town and with a strong set of films, she is definitely on the up. She’s said that shes’s happy with the way her career is shaping and enjoying every second of Bollywood.

“I have waited for this time all my life. I yearned to do movies. Now that I am getting to live my childhood dream, it gives me a different kick altogether. Plus, you get to work with people who are passionate and collaborative, which is great,” said the actress, in an interview with Hindustan Times.

On whether she considers herself a massy actor, Kapoor replied, “It feels amazing when people come up to me and tell me that they watch my films and love me. I really like talking to them and asking them what they think about my films. Sometimes, they even make suggestions regarding the kinds of movies I should do. It feels fantastic to have such conversations with them.”

Kapoor’s last outing was ‘Baaghi’ (2016) and it did well at the box office. Talking about having successful films and how she deals with that feeling, Kapoor revealed, “I feel that with every film, I become more nervous, especially when it comes to the day of the release. But I get the same high and rush even now. This time, there has literally been no time to let the success sink in. I was shooting for a magazine on the film�۪s release day and promoting the movie simultaneously. The next day, I was shooting for an advertisement, and the following day, I was rehearsing for my next film with Aditya Roy Kapur.”

Kapoor will be seen next in ‘Rock On 2’ and ‘OK Jaanu’.
